La Camionera emerged from what was meant to be a one-night pop-up for just over 40 people on Broadway Market back in February 2024. Your support has brought us to our gorgeous café-bar, where we continue creating the space we once felt was missing.
La Camionera aims to be a sanctuary for London’s FLINTA community, responding directly to the growing need for lesbian spaces. “Camionera” is Spanish slang for butch lesbians, translating to “a female truck driver.” A good representation of our Mediterranean approach.
La Cami is a space for good conversations, community, and an unbeatable drinks menu. We regularly host a variety of queer events, so keep an eye on us so you don’t miss out!

Accessibility
The front half of our bar - including the entrance, bathroom, bar area, and several tables is wheelchair accessible, thanks to your support in helping us make that possible. Please note that access to the rear section of the venue and the garden involves three steps. A handrail is installed to assist those with limited mobility, though this area is not currently wheelchair accessible.
